Indian Ink is devising again!
Wary of getting into a rut, Jacob Rajan and Justin Lewis had always said they would make no new work after completing their trilogy: Krishnan’s Dairy ("Will I find love?"), The Candlestickmaker ("How can I find happiness?"), The Pickle King ("What is worth preserving?"). They would, however, keep those shows in repertoire and available to to international theatre circuit.
From this ending has come a new beginning. At their recent Actors’ Equity ‘Cameo at the Paramount’ chat, Justin and Jacob revealed they are working on a new show, working title The Dentist’s Chair, about fear on many levels. It’s early days yet but watch this space!
