B-Side Wellington forum report

Congratulations to everyone involved in each step of this process. Anyone who still thinks the performing arts community – the ‘alternative’ sector in particular – has a head-in-the-clouds view of the ‘real’ world, let alone of their personal and collective responsibility to participate proactively, need only be given this report.

Likewise anyone who, in the coming election year, tries to use Pathways to Arts and Cultural Employment (PACE) as a political football. My guess is it has everything to do with this initiative getting off the ground so well.

The corporate sector pays megabucks to produce results like this. If professionalism is a State of Mind (the satire of Urinetown notwithstanding), these people of B-Side are worthy citizens indeed!
