CASTING CALL  
Shining Armour by Philip Braithwaite

BATS Theatre

"Shining Armour" is a new play by award wining New Zealand playwright  Philip Braithwaite.

A real life knights tale set in modern times, this is a dark tale with dark humour about the meltdown of personal values. The roles are meaty and we are looking for actors with strong voices, relaxed physicality and able to give to give a specific, naturalistic performance.

The season is Thursday 21st – Saturday 30th August at 6.30pm
Rehearsals begin July 20th  

Characters:
Martin:
26-33.  Works at an advertising agency and is a member of the Camelot Club
Stacey: 
25-30. Works as a secretary and an escort
Kevin: 
30s.  A musician
Graham: 
30s to late 40’s. Martin’s Boss

Auditions will be held at Toi Poneke Art Center, 61 Abel Smith Street, Te Aro  
On Saturday, 12th of July, 5pm-8pm
You will be asked to do a scene from the play.

Script will be available upon request.
