FRINGE 2010 (Wellington) IS HAPPENING!  

The Fringe Arts Trust has set the dates! Fringe is going ahead! 

FRINGE 2010 – Friday 12 February to Sat 6 March 2010. 

Applications for a Fringe slot at BATS will close on Thursday 1st October so start plotting – it is totally Fringe Business as usual for BATS, and more working in partnership with Fringe to make sure everything Fringe at BATS is a success. Woop Woop! Get in touch if you want to chat through grand ideas.

Message from The Fringe Arts Trust:

Between now and the start of Fringe 2010 there is a lot to do. As we begin the planning we’d like the opportunity to meet with you and talk together about what we can do to make sure that the next festival really does fly. We’d also like your thoughts about what we can do to set the scene for future festivals too.

You are invited to join us on Wednesday 29 July 2009, between 6.30 – 8.00pm, at Upper Chamber, Level 1 Just Above Fringe Office Toi Poneke Arts Trust Centre 61-69 Abel Smith Street, Te Aro

At this meeting we’ll update you on:  Festival 2010 plans; Registration for next year’s festival; Kakano funding applications; and Discussions we have been having with the Cuba Street Carnival Board.

We’ll also be after your bright ideas to maintain Fringe as an iconic event in the life of our city. Please let us know that you are coming. Let us know that you’ll be there by emailing ‘Yes’ to director@fringe.co.nz.
