24 hour comedy people jump the gun and kick off Laugh-A-thon early.
NEW TIMES : Now Midnight Friday 7 August to Midnight Saturday 8 August
It’s a movable feast so the 24 hour comedy people at The Classic have moved it. For reasons well within their control the ‘Classic Laugh-a-thon’ will now kick off at midnight on Friday 7 August and finish at midnight on Saturday August 8th, just in time for the Live Comedy Hour on TV3’s Telethon.
Producer Scott Blanks explains the reasons behind the move: "I changed my mind."
The programme of live comedy pretty much remains the same , just a little earlier, so if you fancy your chances of staying up and laughing for 24hours then get down to The Classic this Friday from midnight.
100% of the proceeds from door sales and additional donations will be delivered to Telethon during their Live Comedy hour after midnight on Saturday.
