AUDITION NOTICE – SALON

An open audition will be held on  Sat 21 November at Toi Poneke Arts Centre in Wellington.

I’m looking for an actor to complete the cast of a new site-specific devised work titled SALON. Age/gender/ethnicity all open.

This is a prequel to the show Hotel. It will be performed in high-end hair salons and will feature at both the Wellington Fringe Festival in Feb/Mar and The Taupo Erupt! Festival in May 2010. Actors must be available for both seasons and to rehearse in Wellington for one week in Dec and from Jan 11 onwards. SALON is supported by CNZ and The Taupo Arts Festival Trust.

Auditionees should be confident actors with strengths in devising and/or writing and be committed to an ensemble approach to the creation and performance of this work. The audition will be a group audition, and will take around 1 hour.  This will be the only audition day, and places will be confirmed on a first-in first served basis.
