PRODUCTION CO-ORDINATOR, TOI WHAKAARI

Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School is the pre-eminent theatre and screen training facility in New Zealand with well established courses in acting, directing, design, costume construction, performing arts management and entertainment technology.

The Performing Arts Management and Entertainment Technology department is looking for a Production Coordinator to manage Toi Whakaari’s Production Unit which supports a wide range of production projects in the School.

This is a fixed term position in Wellington from April through to November 2010. There is some flexibility around hours of work.

Essential attributes and experience for the position:

• Experience in theatre production management, design and technology

• Ability to actively lead, support and mentor students

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative working environment

• Excellent organisational and communication skills
