Hi there,
We are needing folk to help out with food and tech over the weekend of 15-16th May (this coming weekend) for the Whiteness/Whitemess: Creative Disorders and Hope critical Gathering – at Berhampore School Hall, 105 Britomart Street, Berhampore, Wellington.
The weekend is a space for artists/writers/educators to come together to look the dynamics and politics of making work that addresses Pakeha relationships to Colonisation.

We are cooking the food ourselves and have most things organised but need people to help us over the weekend with food heating, serving, clean ups etc. Basically some kitchen godesses (of any gender/s) We will need:
Saturday: 2 kitchen folk, 9am-5pm
Sunday: 2 kitchen fol, 9am-5pm
Tech Support
Sat & Sun: tech support person (from 8am Sat and Sun, finishing Sunday 5pm)
The tech person is just someone who can help with very basic stuff – mostly getting powerpoint presentations and DVDs/slide shows up on the data projector and perhaps assisting artists with other basic things.
This person will be able to sit in on everything over the weekend but will just keep an eye out as tech-support.
If anyone is able to volunteer their time for a day (or both) over the weekend it would be incredible.
