The Tempo Dance Festival is going from strength to strength……….and we now need the process of programme planning to begin much earlier.
We specifically invite everyone to express your interest NOW in performing in tempo 2011.
Yes, it’s over a year away, but we need to get organized earlier so we can plan better and support you better. It also gives you more time to apply for funding.
The Expressions of Interest form is in this email below and we urge you to think about 2011. Can you please return this by Friday July 16 2010.

TEMPO 2011 – EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Tempo Dance Festival is an umbrella and presenting festival that promotes a diverse range of dance performances, events and workshops.
Tempo 2011 will run at various Auckland venues from mid-September to late October 2011.
There are two broad options of involvement in Tempo that cover all performances, events and workshops:
Option One
Be umbrella’d by Tempo and present your own show / workshop / event at a venue of your choice and benefit from Tempo’s $75,000 marketing and publicity budget. Additionally you will have access to professional production and marketing advice from Tempo staff.
Registration fees vary; the Tempo team will discuss this with you once your Expression of Interest has been received.
Option Two
Have your work presented as a Tempo-produced show, either in a ‘shared programme’ or a full length show. The venue, technical support, ticketing, marketing and publicity are all provided by Tempo.
This is a shared-risk programme and there is no registration fee.
