AUDITIONS FOR 2011 NATIONAL TOUR   
of AWHI TAPU by ALBERT BELZ  

“Two parts comedy, two parts tragedy and several shots of intense drama.”  

We are seeking two actors:  
One Male—NZ/ FIJIAN/INDIAN 18 – 28 years  
One Female—MÂORI 18 – 28 years  

AUDITION DATES:

AUCKLAND
Saturday 25th September  
Venue: St Barnabas Scout Hall, Mt. Eden

WELLINGTON
Sunday 26th September
    Venue: Te Whaea – National Dance and Drama Centre

PERFORMANCE AND WORKSHOP DATES:

ABOUT AWHI TAPU
At the foot of the Urewera ranges lies Awhi Tapu – a desolate forestry village. With the forestry industry closed down, most have left. Wendyl, Sonny, Casper and Girl Girl only have each other and their fertile imaginations to rely on.
