THE PANNZ NEW ZEALAND PERFORMING ARTS MARKET 2011  

The PANNZ New Zealand Performing Arts Market will take place in Auckland on Mon 14 & Tues 15 March 2011. Thank you to Creative New Zealand, our core funder and THE EDGE, our long standing Auckland venue partner. 

The PANNZ Performing Arts Market is New Zealand’s sole marketplace for the promotion of professional tour ready dance, theatre and music productions. It is also an important forum for connecting artists and presenters, debating the issues facing our industry and building capacity within our sector. 

PANNZ is attended by festival directors, venue managers, artists, producers and industry stakeholders. The Market offers a professional but relaxed environment.For more information and for application/registration forms see http://www.pannz.org.nz/market.php 

Artist/producers – applications for a 10 minute Pitch Spot or a Bright Idea Spot close on Fri 26 November  

Venue/Festival Presenters or other delegates – registrations close Fri 11 February

Those attending PANNZ from out of town are encouraged to extend your stay if you can. The weekend prior to PANNZ will be a buzz in Auckland. PANNZ will be running an Industry Day on Sun 13 March including a tour of several of Auckland’s regional venues, workshops and discussions. Saturday 12th is Auckland’s fantastic Pasifika event in Western Springs, that same weekend is the closing weekend of Auckland Fringe, the middle weekend of Auckland Arts Festival and the opening weekend of CNZ’s Te Manu Ka Tau Flying Friends Programme. It’s going to be great fun so pop it in your diary now.
