Job Summary:
Auckland Theatre Company is seeking a Development Administrator to assist with a major capital fund-raising campaign & the development & maintenance of relationships with sponsors, funders, donors and other stakeholders.
Description:
ATC is launching a major capital fund-raising campaign to raise funds for a state of the art theatre in Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter and is seeking an experienced administrator to co-ordinate and support the General Manager and Development Manager in the fund-raising operation.
The position is designed to provide a high level of day-to-day administrative support for fundraising activities and to assist the Development Manager to develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with donors, sponsors, funders and other stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be hands-on and highly organised and have outstanding interpersonal skills, good written and oral communication skills and a very high degree of computer literacy. They will have an eye for detail and an understanding of the nuances of managing sensitive and confidential stakeholder and donor relationships.
Initially this position is for the duration of six months. The successful candidate needs to be able to start immediately and hit the ground running.
Key skills:
It is also advantageous but not essential to have relevant experience working in arts sector, or for a not-for-profit organisation.
