WANT TO PUT ON A SHOW AT THE BASEMENT NEXT YEAR?  

Submissions now open for July-December 2012.

Please get in touch if you’ve got something up your sleeve. We love collaborating with an artistic mixtape of theatre makers, dancers, visual artists, poets, musicians, comedians and everyone in between. We are a safe place to be experimental, brave and innovative and WE WANT YOU!

SUBMISSION CRITERIA
– We are calling for full-length works from 45 minutes in length.
– We will be programming July – December 2012

Our aims:

To provide a platform where Auckland’s less established creative talent can develop their craft and have the opportunity to produce their own work independently.

To endeavour to provide a venue that builds a new generation of performance  and develops a younger audience interested in the arts.

To support originality and exploration in both New Zealand and international works.

To present a diverse range of dynamic work that is cherry-picked for it’s suitability to our target audience.

To facilitate the discovery of new ways to present work.

Opportunity location:  Auckland City 

Open to Independent companies and practitioners (self-funded).
