ARTISTIC DIRECTOR: CENTREPOINT THEATRE  

After three and half years of juggling a long-distance relationship , Kate Louise Elliott is leaving Centrepoint Theatre to go home . We will really miss her but it means a brilliant opportunity awaits the next up and coming aspiring Artistic Director.

The Trust seeks Expressions of Interest from persons with the experience, reputation and stature with the NZ theatre industry to become Artistic Director of Centrepoint Theatre.  The Artistic Director is responsible for implementing and maintaining artistic direction, programming, and leading an innovative team.

The Artistic Director reports to a supportive community trust and will be expected to actively participate and network within both the national and local arts scenes.

The successful applicant will be creative and energetic, with good organisational, theatrical and communication skills. Experience and a working knowledge in other areas of theatre such as marketing, finance/budgeting, training and mentoring and/or playwriting would be an advantage
