AUDITIONS – Immaculate by Oliver Lansley

Monday, 21 May 2012, 09:00 until 17:00

You’re young, free and single and haven’t had sex for the last eleven and a half months, then one morning you wake up pregnant, and here is the Angel Gabriel on your doorstep claiming parentage. In Oliver Lansley’s “Immaculate”, things quickly spiral into farcical confusion with no fewer than three more potential fathers claiming parentage, one of them an ex-boyfriend, one of them a geek from school that you wouldn’t want to be seen dead with, and the third being Satan himself.

“Immaculate” was first seen at the 2005 Edinburgh Festival, where Metro called it “genuinely a laugh a minute” and the British Theatre Guide said, “‘In a Fringe which is filled with comedies, this has to be one of the funniest”.
