AUDITION NOTICE! – WELLINGTON  

Casting Ariel, Miranda and Ferdinand for A Tempest off Somes Island!!! 

Bard Productions, the company that created Frogs Under the Waterfront and Quarantine, is now producing a modern, comedic, fantastical adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Tempest, to take place on Matiu/Somes Island in Wellington Harbour.

We are looking for:

• a physical, funny, experienced actress to play the role of Ariel. She must also be comfortable with being fully body-painted for the role.
• a young woman to fill the role of Miranda.
• a good-looking, funny, early 20’s experienced actor to play the role of Ferdinand.

Rehearsals from Jan 7^th to Feb. 7^th 2013.

Shows throughout February on Thurs/Fri/Saturdays.

Payment is Co-op share, generally around $700/actor if tickets sell well.

Auditions take place on the 12^th, 13^th, and 14^th of December..
