Calling all Wellington Playwrights:  

ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT ACTING AND WRITING FOR THE STAGE?

The Emerging Artists Trust (EAT) is interested in developing a Wellington-based intensive workshop for playwrights and actors, modelled on its highly successful screenwriters and actors workshop.

The format: 16 writers and 10 actors meet for 3 hours/week in a process designed to dramatically improve their storytelling craft, analytical skills and ability to work successfully within our highly collaborative industry.

Meetings would consist of readings and feedback sessions moderated by a prominent New Zealand playwright. Over the 19-week period, playwrights would write and workshop an entire full-length stage play.
