THE COURT THEATRE MARKETING MANAGER  

The Court Theatre is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the marketing team at one of New Zealand’s largest professional arts companies.  

The Marketing Manager is part of the Senior Management team. Reporting to the Chief Executive and working closely with the Artistic Director and Development Manager, you will be responsible for the overall marketing and communications of the theatre.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Further developing the marketing strategy for the theatre ensuring company aims and sales targets are met.
• In consultation with the Artistic Director, leading on the creation of all marketing and publicity collateral.
• In consultation with the Development Manager and Front of House department generating and facilitating alternative revenue streams.
• Creating and managing the marketing budget and marketing plan to best identify and engage the target market of each show, driving ticket purchasing behaviour, while adhering to strict deadlines.
• To oversee and develop the theatre’s online presence and social media strategy.
• To manage The Court Theatre’s brand both internally and in the marketplace.

Above all, the successful candidate will need to thrive in a positive, upbeat, high achieving environment and facilitate and lead that culture. An arts background is preferred but not essential.
