The 8th Annual AUCKLAND THEATRE AWARDS 2016
The Auckland Theatre Awards are back for another huge show to celebrate 2016! It’s one of the best and biggest nights of the year, filled with enough laughs to fill an entire Pop-Up Globe for a huge extended season.
Our beloved host Kura Forrester returns for a second time, bringing in what will be an incredible assortment of cameos from the thriving theatre community! Amidst all the fun we acknowledge the outstanding work of theatre makers city-wide with our Excellence, Best Newcomer, Lifetime achievement and People’s Choice awards. Who knows, YOU could be a winner!
You won’t want to miss one of the biggest nights on the Auckland theatre calendar, so book now and come dressed to the theme of Shakespeare with a Twist. The Tempest in Space? Robot Romeo? Hamlet wearing literal ham? Anything’s possible so long as you don’t mind making the Old Bard turn in his grave!
