THEATREVIEW IN 2019 

Theatreview continues to enjoy funding support from the Wellington City Council to ensure coverage of Wellington’s professional performing arts. The good news is that Creative New Zealand has come back on board with funding for

• John Smythe to continue as Theatre Editor for the rest of NZ except Auckland, and as Managing Editor;
• Raewyn Whyte to return to being Dance Editor nationwide;
• Sascha Monteiro to be retained as our Webmaster.

Donations from supporters through PressPatron – for which were are enormously grateful – are essential for covering further expenses, sometimes unforeseen.

(If we could find a funding source to contract an Auckland Theatre editor we would – all suggestions welcome.)

The Theatreview Trust aspires to being able to pay reviewers but until we find a sustainable source of funding for this, we remain grateful – on behalf of all visitors to Theatreview – that they are willing to contribute for the return of two comps for each show they review.
