Tarun’s easy-going self-deprecating humour takes him a long way as he talks about some of the ridiculous sides of daily life. From his vantage point of Cellphone Salesman-cum-Comedian there is a plethora of idiocies of which to make fun.
Tarun only talks about wedges once and it’s wedge singular… and it’s a real treat. Keep an eye out. He is assisted with PowerPoint as he shows us signs he has seen which includes a foray into the signage of the Promise Keepers and his own take on them.
From here his topics range widely from the new driving rules, the 40 hour famine, his own Mother and Marmite. Tarun has his own quirky view on each that he shares to good reception on his opening night.
Tarun is a natural entertainer and while I don’t think this was a ‘clean’ show Tarun is fairly moderate with his language giving it a wide appeal.
Tarun Talks Wedges is a fun night out and I heard people in the audience saying “Yes!” when they realised he had hit the nail on the head with things we had all thought but never said aloud!
Catch him at this year’s festival if you can!
