The world fell apart—but the dead boy won’t.

Their secret hideaway has let four rejects watch the world fall apart, but when one of the newest residents is a corpse, disintegration hits a little too close to home.

The body is Blue and it stirs haunting memories for a long-forgotten actress, two old sole survivors and the rightful heir to Atlantis, et al.

Devised and performed by the co-operative Dido St. Claire, Dead Boys Are Blue is a post-modern weaving together of four stories, performance and songs that explore why it is easier to care for a dead boy than mankind.

Dead Boys Are Blue is a semi-autobiographical work, developed in Launceston, Tasmania and Bay of Islands, New Zealand.
