Audition for two actors in Wellington

… for a new play, Marley & Rachel & A Body Part, by Diane Spodarek (The Drunk Monologues, Fringe 06)

to be performed at The Paekakariki Fringe 2007 in February.

Auditions:
Where: The Community Room, The Wellington Arts Centre, 61 Able Smith Street, Wellington
When: The 8th of January 2007
Time: 4pm to 5 pm
The Play is set in New York City: the date 9/11.
The time: just before and when the first plane hits the World Trade Centre.

Character Synopses

Marley
African American double amputee, (both legs), Homeless Vet.
Actor does not have to be African American born; can be any ethnicity but must be able to play an African American. 30 +

Rachel
New Zealand tourist, Homeless, white. 30 +

Marley: Wise and dignified
Rachel: Drunk and desperate
