LONDON ‘SHAKY ISLES’ FUNDRAISER
Tickets are selling for Shaky Isles Theatre’s up coming fundraising event – Friday 19 June from 8PM – so get in quick to be part of the fun, or pass this on to friends you know will be in London …
Funds raised are going toward this year’s Festival of Aoteroa 2009 – London’s New Zealand Arts Festival in October/November. The Festival will include an array of New Zealand artistic delights, in the forms of; Theatre, Dance, Music, Film, and Playreading events. We’re set to bring these fabulous events to several venues around London this October / November.
We have a wonderful play called FAITH by Tom McCrory directed by Stella Duffy billed to be the Festival’s centrepiece. To help bring this fabulous play to the London stage we are running a FUNDRAISING event to assist with production costs. Our fundraising event will be at the very cool Sacred Cafe in London’s buzzing Carnaby Street.
The evening will include: Live performances, NZ wine/beer, nibbles, PLUS a chance to WIN prizes!
We do hope you can come and support the work of Shaky Isles Theatre. We have an exciting line up of events this year, and we’re working very hard to raise the money to make this whole Festival a reality. Your continued support for the company’s work is so very important and deeply appreciated. Please also pass onto anyone you think would be keen to come along!
