REQUEST FOR DOWNSTAGE STORIES

Next month Downstage celebrates its 45th Birthday. To mark the occasion, we’d like to hear your stories about the experiences you’ve had here (good or bad). We’ll be printing these and displaying them throughout the building to signify how many people have shared in our theatre’s story.

To get you started, here’s one from Pat Hawthorne, an early staff member of Downstage and the person who provides the flower arrangements for our Opening Nights. "Downstage changed my life. I went along, it was a kind of theatre I’d never seen before, it took me over completely…" (You can find out what happened to Pat during our 45th anniversary celebration)
