ACTORS WANTED
The Theatre in Health Education Trust is a national touring educational theatre company, which has specialised in presenting and working on health promotion programmes with young people since 1990.
We are looking for 1 female and 2 male actor / educators to work on our 2010 sexual health programme – Sexwise
You need to be:
- genuinely interested in working on a quality theatre-based health programme for young people
- aged between 20 and 28, able to sing and preferably play a guitar
- a warm, engaging and confident presenter
- an excellent communicator who can relate in an open, non-judgemental and accepting manner to young people with differing values and from differing backgrounds and cultures
- disciplined, generous, adaptable and self-motivated
- prepared to work co-operatively and collaboratively; to take and give constructive criticism
- able to work, travel and live for several months with the same small group of people
- available from January 31 to at least mid June 2010 (apart from secondary school vacations)
- preferably the holder of a current full driver’s licence
Auditions will be held in Christchurch and Dunedin in late November / early December.
