AUDITION NOTICE FOR THE GREAT GATSBY at Circa
Adapted by Ken Duncum, and directed by David O’Donnell, rehearsals for The Great Gatsby will begin on the 28th of June for a season at Circa from the 31st of July to the 28th of August, 2010.
We are looking for cast of four men (20-30s) and three women (20s).
Individual auditions are to be held on the 29th and 30th of January at Circa.
You will be required to present two short monologues from the play, in an East Coast American accent, which will be provided to you once your audition has been confirmed.
You may also be asked to read a short scene from the text. Copies of the script are available at the Circa box office.
This is an ensemble driven piece, with most actors playing several roles, and so versatility will be required. All of the performers will also be required to sing and dance, so experience in this regard will also be helpful.
If you are interested in auditioning, please respond by Tuesday 26 January at the latest and send your C.V. to bradley.charlotte@gmail.com, along with an indication of which day of the auditions you would prefer.
