What is The BIG Little City?
All the fantastic things that both BIG and little cities offer in a unique Pacific package. Where you’ll find markets, festivals and events showcasing the BIG colour, culture, food and buzz of over 150 ethnic communities all within one, easy-to-get-around area. Where you’ll find a City built on a BIG harbour with a little Pacific flavour – A unique City full of variety, interest and jam-packed with things to do and see.
The BIG Little City’s distinctive fusion of Pacific, European and Asian cultures, together with its geographic location, maritime heritage, people and contemporary youthfulness provide an ideal backdrop for this series of eclectic, engaging and entertaining encounters that will reflect, and have the potential to redefine, audiences’ perspective of their city.
