All Together Now! will include performances by the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, Christchurch Cathedral Choir, Christchurch City Choir, The Army Band, the cast of The Court Theatre’s summer musical Cabaret, Showbiz Christchurch, the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts, Rachel Doig, Ali Harper, the Hagley Dance Company, Suzanne Prain, Mark Hadlow and more.
“TelstraClear has a long-held and close relationship with the people of Canterbury. We have a lot of loyal customers in the region and a large staff based in Christchurch who support our customers around New Zealand,” says TelstraClear CEO, Allan Freeth.
“We have worked with The Court Theatre for over 17 years as a sponsor and we wanted to find a way to work together to celebrate the tremendous resilience shown in Canterbury since the earthquake.”
Court Theatre, CEO, Philip Aldridge says; “We really want this event to be a celebration of Christchurch and Canterbury – focused on the way we have come together as a community – so tickets to the event and copies of the souvenir programme are free.
“In the spirit of celebrating our region, all the artists performing on the night are from Canterbury or are from our resident companies, and they have all donated their time and talents to the event. I would like to acknowledge their artistic contribution with a special thank you.
He adds: “There is a spirit within the community at this time of adversity which is remarkable and humbling. We think it is right to acknowledge and celebrate it. What better way than through music, song and laughter? Take a bow, Canterbury, with us, on November 3 at The Isaac Theatre Royal.”
