PLan D is thrilled to announce the nominations for the inaugural Dunedin Theatre Awards as chosen by the Panel of Critics. This is an exciting step closer to what promises to be a spectacular industry night, this Friday at the Fortune Theatre.
Members of all the theatre groups in Dunedin will be coming together to celebrate excellence and summer in New Zealand’s premier theatre city. So grab yer glad rags, polish yer face and mingle with your fellow brightest and beautiful things!

We are also thrilled to announce that David Cull, the Mayor of Dunedin, will be on hand to award the prestigious Outstanding Contribution to Dunedin Theatre Award.
All Dunedin-based theatre productions that are not musical theatre or educational productions are eligible and, from which, a short list of nominees are chosen by the Panel of Critics. The Wildcard and Outstanding Contribution to Dunedin Theatre awards will be announced on the night.
Nominations for these two awards can be still emailed to pljdavies@gmail.com by noon Wednesday 15 December. Please include your reasons why the recipient is deserving of the award.
All award nominations are independently scrutinised by Cara Paterson, DCC Arts Officer.
