THE DUNEDIN THEATRE AWARDS: WINNERS
What a wonderful evening of glitz, glam, and theatre! The first Dunedin Theatre Awards have now been handed out by Mayor Dave Cull and the bubbly continues to flow. Plan D sends a hearty well done to all nominees and a standing ovation to the winners.
In a surprise move the Panel of Critics gave out THREE Wild Card Awards rather than one which had the crowd cheering.
And the winners are (in bold):

Nicholas McBryde: For his contributions in creating the Otago Festival of the Arts – a world class event bringing International and National works of art to Otago. His unending and heroic efforts in developing the event into a one of the few national arts festival which is artistically and financially successful and which has an ‘Otago’ flavour.
