Call for proposals
LIVE at Galatos is a three season event where choreographic thinking as performance and curation is presented and debated, where both artist and audience are invited to be part of the experience. We are looking for artists who are interested in exploring new ideas that work with the following curated themes.

TASTE ME is a performance event combining durational and pop up performances exploring engagement between audience and performer. TASTE ME invites choreographic work that crosses boundaries between any combination of dance, visual art, music, digital media and film, to create an atmosphere, which involves the audience in a sensorial experience. HEAR ME: July Wed 27, Thurs 28, submissions due 11th May
HEAR ME is looking for choreographers and body in space artists as well as composers, musicians and sonic artists who are interested in collaborating across disciplines and experimenting in sound/body relationships. Interested in musicians in performance, compositional collaboration or sound to challenge?

LOVE ME: June Tues 28, Wed 29, submissions due 11th May
LOVE ME is looking for works and choreographers who have an interest in experimenting with the lighter side of life. Cheeky work that delights, surprises and gives our audience a great night out at Galatos. Comedy, laughs, storytelling, street dance and a dose of spectacle. An explosion of ‘High energy feel good’ performance – Live at Galatos is going out with a bang.
Those finicky details… submission guidelines for all seasons:
The work is between 5 and 15 minutes long
The choreographic idea is suitable for Galatos, a live art space
The work has simple technical requirements
N.B. A post performance ‘Difficult Discussions’ panel will be hosted after the first performance of each season.
