PROGRAM MANAGER: THE ACTORS’ PROGRAM  

Western Springs, Auckland 

The Actors’ Program is a rigorous, practice-based year-long course governed by an Artistic Board made up of respected professionals Sara Wiseman, Michael Hurst, Jennifer Ward-Lealand, Michele Hine, Cameron Rhodes, John Callen and Charlie McDermott. It concentrates on providing actors with the tools they need to be effective practitioners in the challenging and exciting world of stage and screen.

The key purpose for this role is to provide effective administration support and programme management services for The Actors’ Program training institution, their staff and students.

The Program Manager reports to the Artistic Board. Key responsibilities include:
– Program Administration
– Financial Management
– Marketing support

Key Experience:
– Administrative systems
– Experience in the Arts community an advantage Skills/

Competencies:
– Ability to set priorities, organise and delegate
– Highly literate and numerate
– Computer literacy with proficiency in: Microsoft Office; Xero; iPayroll; WordPress

Key skills sought:
Ability to set priorities, organise and delegate
– Highly literate and numerate
– Computer literacy
– Experience in the performing arts an advantage.

Start date: Monday, 18 March 2013

Salary: $35,000 – $45,000
