THE 2013 DUNEDIN THEATRE AWARDS
– CELEBRATING THEATRICAL EXCELLENCE –
Yes, it’s time for the annual Dunedin Theatre Awards, celebrating outstanding achievement on the stages and theatres of Dunedin. The awards are an all-inclusive industry event where we come together in strength as a community. Mark Neilson returns from his hobbit-sized cloakroom to introduce and announce the winners.
We are delighted like a 5 year old at Christmas to be holding the ceremony at the historic Globe Theatre in London Street. The Globe has a long a illustrious career beginning with Patric and Rosalie Carey; embracing James K. Baxter and Ralph Hotere; and burgeoning with the Friends of the Globe who continue to keep the theatre going today.
