EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST ARE SOUGHT FROM THEATRES, DRAMA SOCIETIES OR GROUPS who may be interested in performing the winning plays from the 2016 Playwrights Association of New Zealand (PANZ) Competition. 

In 2015 all eight winning plays were produced as a single show which ran for six well attended performances at the Dark Room, Palmerston North. 

The 2016 Competition will also be for the best 10-minute play scripts and eight Finalists will be decided by the end of July 2016. 

PANZ is now looking for a drama group / theatre who would be interested in a public performance of some or all of these plays during the latter half of 2016. 

PANZ is open to proposals which may be: 

a) to produce a public performance of all eight plays,

b) to conduct a workshop on some or all of the plays, leading to a public performance or reading with feedback, or

c) any other proposal.

Assistance will be given with funding applications to support the performance(s).
