AUDITION NOTICE

Long Cloud Youth Theatre & A Slightly Isolated Dog

Summer Collaboration 2015–16

Be a part of Long Cloud Youth Theatre and create a new theatre show.  We are looking for company members to work on this exciting collaboration with A Slightly Isolated Dog on a new devised piece directed by Leo Gene Peters.

We are holding auditions at Level 1 Whitireia Performance Centre, 25-27 Vivian Street on:
THURSDAY, 19 November, 6:30 – 8:30pm
and
SATURDAY, 21 November, 2:00 – 4:00pm.

Anyone between the ages of 16 – 25 who is interested in creating and/or performing theatre is welcome.

To take part please email the director leo.gene.peters@gmail.com
by Wed 18 November.

The project will use Parties, Going Out, Drinking and Wellington Nightlife as resources.  We will devise the work from our stories, experiences, and questions about going out and drinking.  We’ll create new material from what truly matters to us.  The process is fun, relaxed, and curious – while being disciplined and rigorous to generate this explosive, entertaining and provocative new theatre performance.

The work will be created part-time at rehearsals through 2015.  There will be a full-time 3 week intensive from 11 – 30 January 2016.  The show will perform evenings 30 January – 14 February 2016.
