THE GLOBE THEATRE DUNEDIN RE-OPENING

After being dark for nearly 15 months for structural repair work Dunedin’s Globe Theatre re-opens on Thursday 25 February 2016, (its 55^th season) with a season of Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest.

$550,000 was raised by The Friends of the Globe to save this iconic theatre and ensure that it will continue to be as much a part of the future New Zealand theatre scene as it has been in the past.
