MEDIA TO BROADCAST ARTS REPORTS
In a co-ordinated move all broadcast media have committed to Arts Reports at least three times daily, along the line of their Stock Market and Sports Reports. This follows a research initiative that proved more people engage with the Arts than with Sport and the Stock Market combined.
“This is a pragmatic decision,” a commercial broadcasting spokesperson said. “Our job is to deliver eyes and ears to advertisers, and people who engage with the arts are often highly – or potentially – active consumers. We haven’t gone mad, we’ve got wise,” she said.
