GET YOUR FRINGE ON!   

BATS is now calling for pitches for the 2017 NZ Fringe Festival (Friday 10 February – Saturday 4 March). 

BATS will be embracing the riskiest and friskiest festival Wellington has to offer across all its three performance spaces. 

The deadline for applications is Thursday 22 September 2016

Young and Hungry, BATS and the Fringe Festival are joining forces tomorrow to hold a session on how the Fringe works, and more specifically how it works at BATS and how to put an effective pitch together.

Topics that will be covered are:

• what makes a good blurb & image
• licensing requirements
• budgeting
• funding options
• ownership of devised works
• membership of ETNZ

and other useful stuff for pitching & staging new work.
