Poetry Idol

 Seems a pity only 10 poets will be in the Idol night event. The excitement generated in these kind of events are  by having lots of poets performing short pieces and the best ten chosen to compete in a final round . To choose ten poets in the cloistered confines of some kind of “Idol show “audition seems odd. I suppose you could camcord the sessions and show them on a huge screen on the night of Poetry Idol. This might breathe fun and even spontaneity into the nights proceedings .
