TE AUAHA SEEKS A VENUES PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN 

Te Auaha is a purpose-built building on the corner of Cuba and Dixon Streets, in the heart of Pōneke. It’s a tertiary education institution bringing together the arts programmes from Whitireia and WelTec, and features multiple venues including two theatres, a cinema and a gallery. Our venues are home to a diverse range of multi-disciplinary courses and activities, creating a vibrant creative hub.

Te Auaha Venues is currently recruiting for a new Venues Production Technician. The Venues Production Technician ensures that those who hire or use the venues at Te Kāhui Auaha have the knowledge and equipment they need for their activities to run safely and smoothly from a technical and facilities point of view. The production technician will also be required to design and operate lights and sound for internal productions, and undertake similar duties for external productions and events when required.
