EARTHQUAKE IN CHRISTCHURCH, SATURDAY 4 SEPTEMBER 2010 Below are photos taken this morning by Paul McLaughlin and published on his Facebook page. First is the Christchurch Repertory Theatre, which looks as though it may be condemned. Below that the closed-down Arts Centre which houses Court Theatre and shows superficial damage from the outside. No reports as yet on the state of the interior.

THERE WILL BE A SPECIAL Q&A WITH THE DIRECTOR AND CAST OF DISTRACTION CAMP following the performance at BATS on the Thursday 2nd September. Tango, BDSM and SS role-play may seem an odd combination to feature in a theatre production, but Distraction Camp, a hit in Christchurch last year, and playing at BATS (Aug 31 – Sept 11), suggests they are remedies for a shared dis-ease.
