What d’you call the nervous, distracted jokewriter for a top UK comedian when he’s forced to do standup with crippling stage-fright & jokes the comedian didn’t buy, all so the world can see who’s really the funny one?

★★★★★incredibly smart, funny- Edmonton Journal ★★★★Now, Toronto.

Winner: Best Comedy, Nelson Fringe

★★★★ Winnipeg FreePress

Attention Seeker is a fast-paced true storytelling comedy about comedic ambition, uncommon distraction and immense stupidity. The show was a sold out critical hit across Canada in 2016 and was also awarded Best Comedy at the Nelson Fringe. Also, this bloke thinks it’s great and he’s a proper journalist and everything which means you can definitely trust him: http://edmontonjournal.com/entertainment/festivals/fringe-review-attention-seeker

Gerard returns to Wellington after debuting at the 2016 Fringe with the storytelling comedy A Tension To Detail at the Cavern Club, which received rave reviews from Theatreview and Art Murmurs (see below). It also won an award for Best Comedy at the Dunedin Fringe last year and Best of Fest at Ottawa Fringe.

“an engaging, beguiling storyteller, performing possibly at a higher RPM than most of us, and he’ll make you laugh and think and feel” – Theatre In London   “hugely talented, a cut above most storytellers” – CBC  ★★★★★

“incredibly smart, funny and possibly one of the best comedians at this year’s Fringe” – Edmonton Journal

“★★★★ all the wit and timing of an accomplished road comic” – Winnipeg Free Press

“a thoroughly sensitive and carefully crafted and performed show” – Theatreview, Wellington

“a storybook ride of twists and turns. An unforgettable story told by a master craftsman” – Art Murmurs, Wellington

“a perfect mix of energy, intellect and self-deprecation” – Art Murmurs, Wellington

“He would make a very good Homeresque travelling bard if the century were right… Harris leaves you with much more than the story. He makes you look at things in a different way…” – Theatreview, Dunedin
