Alexandra Bellad-Ellis is a writer, actor and stage manager and has been involved in the arts for most of her life (20 years and counting).
She is a founding member of the Palmerston North Theatre company Skin Theatre, as well as being involved in other production companies such as Joy Green’s Properjob Productions and Iris Productions. She acts mostly in productions of Shakespeare’s work, it’s a form of writing she loves performing and it always gives her joy. Otherwise she stage manages productions. She take pride in making good productions, and providing a great backstage environment for actors.
Alexandra has a Masters in Science Communication (after completing a science degree and postgraduate diploma), meaning that she takes complex information and presents it to the public in interesting ways. She hopes to have a career in writing, even if it is never a full time job (some of her writing is currently being looked at by publishers).
