Charlotte is a theatre enthusiast based in Christchurch, where she lives with her six-year-old daughter and two-year-old son. 

As a lifelong bookworm, her love for theatre stems from a deep appreciation for storytelling. Charlotte has nurtured this passion since childhood, recalling vivid memories of moments both from the stage and as an entranced audience member.

She has been lucky enough to see shows on London’s West End but is equally continually impressed by the local theatre scene in Christchurch, including the brilliance and simplicity of The Cubbin Theatre’s children’s productions and the variety of theatre and musical productions the city’s various companies create.

These experiences have cemented Charlotte’s love for live performance, and the Covid-19 lockdowns further highlighted for her the value theatre brings to our lives.
