Ciara hails from the Deep South having graduated from Toi Whakaari in 2001 via post grad at Allen Hall in 1994. Ciara enjoyed a eight year career in New Zealand then moved to London in 2009. Highlights of her career include: a comedy cooking show in the NZ International Comedy Fest 2007, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors 2007, and award winning Sniper and Karaoke Poetry.

Since being in the UK Ciara has enjoyed the London jazz fest with a 23 piece big band, site specific work with James Hadley, and created a burlesque show as a German sausage maker. Ciara comes to reviewing for theatreview off the back of a theatre binge at Edinburgh 2019, her muscle is strong.
