John Du Four is a former advertising writer and creative director. He is active in many aspects of the arts, including painting, ceramics, theatre and writing. He is a musician and composer. John was co-founder of Tablo Theatre Company, performing throughout Aotearoa New Zealand and abroad, including at the Adelaide and Edinburgh Fringes. His short film The Game, which he scripted and directed, was a finalist in the ‘Manhatten Shorts’ Short Film Festival, selected out of 429 entries from 41 countries. John was Arts writer for the top of the South’s Wild Tomato magazine, and he served on the Executive Committee of Arts Council Nelson.
