Kahu Kutia is a young Māori writer. She was raised with her fathers family in Ngāi Tūhoe, before coming to Pōneke for university. Kahu writes on a variety of issues, including colonisation, identity, Māoritanga, mana wāhine, and politics. She has written for Villainesse, The Wireless, Vice New Zealand, Salient Magazine and Kate Sheppard Place Women. She loves to cook, and uplift and decolonise the narratives of her people.
