Louie Zalk-Neale (Ngai Te Rangi, Pakeha) is an artist who works in experimental performance, body adornment and video. They have an affinity with creatures from the sea, and believe that culture should reflect the biodiversity of the natural world. Louie’s art is presented across Aotearoa and internationally, most recently in a performance on a beach in Ngamotu New Plymouth with the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery. They also work as Kaiawhina Nahanana Taonga Curatorial Assistant at Te Pataka Toi Adam Art Gallery in Poneke Wellington.
