Sarah Wilson is a passionate advocate for the arts, working initially as a textiles practitioner, before moving into curatorial, then communications and marketing for performing arts. Sarah has worked in Australia, UK and New Zealand on everything from start-up theatre troupes, budget short films and experimental fringe, to the pointy end of international rock stars, world-class opera, contemporary dance and avantgarde theatre. She has written articles for design and lifestyle magazines, as well as reviews for various publications. Her real passion is for live theatre, and although she has worked onstage and in the wings, her favourite place is amongst the audience.
